Why not just use the open field at the intersection of Watson Parkway and York Road (pictured in the Google Maps link below)? It is right on the Georgetown line and is zoned for commercial development already. It would eventually be just like the Milton station with a supermarket and shopping centre next to the station. Lots of room for parking and easy access via York Rd and Victoria Rd from the south and west ends of Guelph. Many riders are driving past that intersection today on their way to Georgetown via York Road.

The onus is on Geulph to ensure its transit servcie is good enough so that busing to Geulph station is better than driving to Georgetown.
