Alexia Kapralos

Alexia Kapralos has been a Video Journalist on the breaking news team at Global News since 2019, and is a proud honours graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University’s School of Journalism (formerly known as Ryerson University). She is passionate about storytelling and current affairs. Prior to joining Global News, Alexia also worked in media, notably as an associate editor and videographer at Thomson Reuters covering legal and human resources news, and as an on-air host and producer at CJRU 1280 AM in Toronto.
When she’s not covering breaking news, you could find her sipping a coffee, whipping up new recipes in the kitchen, or sweating it out on a spin bike.
