So the “Kiss and Ride” lot is supposed to be for one-car families to drop commuters off at the train station? Compared with driving downtown and parking there, this will add to downtown traffic, as it requires driving there and back just to drop someone off. (If it doesn’t add to downtown traffic, it probably isn’t serving very many people.)
This seems designed mostly as a way to convince people that less parking needs to be built. What I’d like to know is whether they’re going to have plenty of bike parking.
