Holiday news roundup: Guelph to integrate Transit fare / Kitchener / Barrie / Hamilton news bits

It would seem GO Transit is working with the City of Guelph to discount bus fares for its ticket holders — details of which are not yet known, but this is a welcome step towards fare integration with Guelph Transit and GO.

I am troubled by the choice of station in Stoney Creek/Hamilton — Centennial is not the easiest street to traverse during rush hour, and Fifty Road/Fruitland would be an easier alternative for many. Why not have both? Surely James Street North is also still on the table..?
