This section of the site details the responses to our survey sent to Municipal Election Candidates for the November 2006 elections. Although we strived to contact absolutely everyone who is running, this was not possible due to a lack of volunteer hours. We managed to contact everyone who had a published e-mail address, and even managed to get in touch with a few following our media coverage in both Guelph and the Waterloo region. We decided to only contact the following groups:  

• Region of Waterloo chair and city-representation candidates 
• Kitchener mayoral and ward candidates 
• Waterloo mayoral and ward candidates 
• Cambridge mayoral and ward candidates 
• Guelph mayoral and ward candidates 
• Town of Halton Hills mayoral candidates only
     

   

For the record, we used each City’s official website to get the candidates listings. Google, Wikipedia, and other sites such as Cambridge Now! were very useful in acquiring e-mail addresses that were not listed directly.
